1. Lessons in Corporate Apologies From a Beauty Guru

At just 25 years old, James Charles is one of the titans of the beauty influencer sphere. With his personal Instagram account amassing 20 million followers and his YouTube channel boasting 24 million followers, he’s one of biggest names in the beauty industry.

2. Short Takes: Rock On, Anthropologie

If you are an Anthropologie shopper, you’re probably in on the joke that sometimes the brand sells seemingly simple products for laughably high prices.

A prank started circulating on social media recently where wives pull a rock out of the backyard and tell their husbands they purchased the “rare and trendy” product for around $150 at Anthropologie. They begin styling it in their kitchens or entryways as their husbands become increasingly apoplectic at the purchase.

It’s funny because it rings a little too true.

Anthropologie took it all in stride and hopped in on the joke. They posted a video on social media with their new rock display, complete with signage and $1,000 price tags. The caption? “The season’s hottest décor: ROCKS." 5/5 stars from The EO Report.

3. Spotted

Here’s a fun promo for you.

The highly anticipated Devil’s Wear Prada sequel is currently filming. And who showed up to Milan’s fashion week? Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci in character as Miranda Priestly and her high-fashion magazine art director. The two sat front-row center at the Dolce & Gabbana show.

It’s been confirmed the two were filming a scene for the movie, and it was also a perfect way to get buzz for the upcoming film.

  • It’s an unusual circumstance to have to craft a response to, but we think Alexandra Grant, girlfriend (not wife) of Keanu Reeves handled it just fine.

From Hollywood Reporter: Disney reveals streaming price hike amid Kimmel outrage cycle.

  • The subscription price increase is an interesting move in the face of their current public relations crisis and calls for boycotts. What would you do?

From the Wall Street Journal: TV industry bets AI can peel ad dollars away from big tech.
